An Invitation to the RTC BBQ on Sept. 17 from Toni Boucher

The event is partially sponsored by Soldier Socks who will be in attendance.

Constitution Day and Citizenship Day are both observed annually in America on September 17. On this special day, the nation commemorates the signing of the United Sates Constitution on September 17, 1787. It recognizes all who have become US citizens either by birth or naturalization. This day also reminds us of our responsibility as citizens to uphold the principles bedded in the Constitution. In an effort to create “a more perfect union” the framers worked to create a document that would protect individual human rights and provide a balance between federal and state interests.

In celebration of this significant day, the is hosting a Family Barbeque on September 17 from 1-5 pm, at r. Cost is $25 per person, $45 per family and $15 for seniors.  Come join your town and state leaders for a day of food, drinks, silent auction and games for all ages.

The event is partially sponsored by Soldier Socks who will be in attendance so be sure to bring a pair of socks for a soldier. Hope to see you on Saturday, September 17.
