Aquarion Utility Pipe Installation Begins In Wilton Moday, Oct. 21

Work will consist of allowing one lane of alternating traffic. Hours of operations will be from approximately 7 a.m. to 5:30 pm.

WILTON, CT — Aquarion Water Company will be installing utility pipe across Route 106 near Old Boston Road intersection starting on Monday, Oct. 21, weather permitting.

Work will consist of allowing one lane of alternating traffic. Hours of operations will be from approximately 7 a.m. to 5:30 pm. Aquarion officials anticipate that work will take approximately two weeks.

Traffic control will be in place to assist vehicles, for the safety of vehicles and construction workers.

Motorists should "consider using alternate routes," officials advised in a news release Friday.

All bus stops will remain at their current locations and access for emergency vehicles will always be allowed.
