Drinking Party Busted up on Powder Horn Hill
Police were called to the scene and arrested a 24 year-old woman in Wilton.

Police arrested a 24 year-old woman, identified as Katherine Lee, of Wilton, on charges of allowing underage drinking to occur at her residence after police received a complaint of a loud party, police reports state. When police said when they arrived at a residence on Powder Horn Hill Road at about 11:40 p.m. on Thursday May 31, they saw lights in the house turned off, heard the sounds of cans being crushed, glass bottles clanking, and observed a number of persons fleeing the premises, according to Captain John Lynch of the . Police said there were also several vehicles parked outside the house.
When Lee answered the door she said that there was no party going on, Lynch said. Upon subsequent inspection, police found alcohol bottles on the outside of the house, and when they entered the home they found two males hiding in a closet with two cases of beer, according to Lynch. Seven other persons were indicated as being involved in the party, although only drew charges. Police said that Connor Flynn, 19, of New Canaan, had a small amount of marijuana which was “in plain view” within his backpack, said Lynch.
Police said the age range of the people at the party was 18-24.

Police charged Lee with permitting a minor to possess alcohol and released her on a promise to appear in court, reports state.
