Driver Stopped for Speeding, Passenger, 20, Busted for Pot Possession

On Dec. 1 Mark A. Smeland of 3 Elm Street in Darien was issued an infraction for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia by Wilton Police.

Smeland was charged after he was found in possession of marijuana and drug 
paraphernalia while in the passenger seat of his friend's car that had been pulled over for speeding on Danbury Rd and Old Mill Rd.
