Elderly and Disorderly, Middlebrook Larceny

11/9: An elderly Wilton couple on was charged with “disorderly conduct” after a physical altercation occurred between the two, police said. The man is listed as being 70-years-old and the wife 67, according to reports. No injuries were reported.

Larceny at Middlebrook

11/9: $300 went missing from a desk drawer at on office in Middlebrook School, according to police reports. The larceny happened between 11/8 and 11/9.

Who’s the boss?

11/13: Sometime after 11:30 p.m., someone spray-painted “Boss” on the south side of the John’s Best building.

Ice cream capers

11/14: Someone put an ice cream bar in a mailbox on Belden Hill Road, which melted overnight, police said.

11/13: Police said they received a complaint concerning a larceny at . Apparently, someone had been stealing money from the store, possibly over the course of several months, according to police. Surveillance cameras are being reviewed, and it is suspected that this was an inside job, police said.

DUI

11/13: Police stopped “to help a disabled vehicle” on Danbury Road near Wilton Acres, when they “found the operator to be under the influence” and “in possession of cannabis-like substance” of less than a half-ounce, according to police reports. Police arrested the suspect, Kwak Hoony, 23, of Westport for DUI and possession of marijuana under one half ounce, reports state.

11/13: Police stopped a vehicle for driving 58 in a 40 m.ph. zone on Route 7 near Powder Horn Hill, according to police reports. Police said that the driver, Vincenzo Corsale, 45, of Bridgeport, failed a field sobriety test and was subsequently arrested for DUI and speeding, according to police.

Unwanted prescription bin successful

Lieutenant Donald Wakeman said that the bin in the front lobby used for discarding expired medication has been of a great service to the Wilton community. “Obviously there are a lot of people looking to get rid of their old medication…it’s certainly serving its purpose,” said Wakeman. The bin has been emptied about three times in the past six weeks or so, and was “overflowing” each time.
