4/23: Police responded to a disorderly conduct report at a residence at 11:30 p.m. wherein it was found that person had allegedly first been kicked out of a resident’s house and refused to leave the property, and then called the police to make falsely-founded accusations against the resident, police said. Police said that a 20 year-old man, identified as Andrew Legan, 20, of Danbury Road in Ridgefield, called police—apparently at the same time the resident  had been contacting the police department—and allegedly stated that the female resident had been “snorting drugs through a tube” and “beating her children,” said Crosby. Police said they investigated the incident and found no proof of the accusations. Police said Legan had been banging on the door after being locked out of the residence, which had been hosting a small gathering. Police charged Legan with disorderly conduct, filing a false police report and misuse of 911, according to reports.  He was released on a promise to appear in court.
