Man Found With Seven Bags Of Pot In Wilton: Police

WILTON, CT — A New York man was found with seven bags of marijuana after a traffic stop in Wilton last week, according to police. Richard Young, 39, of Purchase, NY, was stopped after changing lanes on Rte. 7 and stopping on the side of the road.

When an officer stopped to investigate, he said he smelled burnt marijuana coming from inside the car. The officer also found two smoking pipes on the passenger side flood of the car.

Young was charged with possession of less than one-half ounce of cannabis, and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.
