Men Found With Forged Checks In Wilton: Police

One of the accused was found trying to cash a forged check.

WILTON, CT — Two men were arrested after trying to cash a forged check in Town Center Thursday afternoon, according to Wilton police. Police say they stopped Shaquille Williams, 24, of Bronx, NY, and Jonathon Tuck, 24, of the Bronx who both had forged checks and evidence of identity fraud.

Police say they received a call reporting the attempt and the suspect had left before they arrived. They stopped the car shortly away from the bank and identified Williams as the suspect.

Both have been charged with forgery, identity theft, larceny and conspiracy.
