Music on the Hill - After School Programs Now Open for Registration!
Community Children's Chorus for grades 3 - 6 and Cultural Drum & Fun for all ages!
Registration is now open for Music on the Hill's after school music programs for kids!
Community Children's Chorus is open to all kids in grades 3 through 6 who love to sing! Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., starting September 11. Singers will learn vocal production and independence and music reading. The chorus sings in two- and three-part harmony, and singers will have solo opportunities. Cultural Drum & Fun is open to children of all ages, including young children with a caregiver. Cultural Drum & Fun is an opportunity for youth, family and friends to explore the wonderful world of music through drumming. Authentic instruments from Africa, Brazil and beyond will be on hand for some musical fanfare. This class is lead by Master Drummer and multi-instrumentalist Kwame' Henry Jones.
