News Deliverer's Car Shot by BB Gun in Wilton
Police said that a BB pellet struck the vehicle of a man delivering newspapers to the Middlebrook Farm Road area.

Now, police believe there to be an actual BB gun vandal who has targeted a newspaper delivery man during his early-morning route in the vicinity of 44 Middlebrook Farm Road, according to police logs. Police said that the delivery man’s vehicle had been pelted last Friday morning around 4:30 a.m while the man was driving; the BB had allegedly struck the front windshield, cracking it. The delivery man also reported that, one week prior and in the same area, his taillight covering had been shattered by what he suspected to be another BB, police said. Police said damage left from the projecticle's impact suggests a BB pellet.
When asked, police ruled out the idea of another furious woodpecker because the car was in motion during the time of the incident.
