Norwalk Woman, 68, Charged with Failure to Obey Stop Sign after Collision on Chestnut Hill Rd

On Nov. 20 at 4:45p.m. Mauricio Marques of 177 South Main Street in Norwalk, traveling north on Chestnut Hill Rd in a 1995 Acura Integra, approached the intersection with Cedar Rd when a 2009 Honda CRV driven by Karen O'Toole, 68, of 3 Boxwood Rd in Norwalk, exited Cedar Rd and pulled out in front of Marques.

According to the Wilton Police accident report, O'Toole indicated that she did not see any vehicles before pulling out onto Chestnut Hill Rd.

Both operators were transported to Danbury Hospital by Wilton EMS for evaluation, and according to Wilton Police, O'Toole was charged with Failure to Obey a Stop Sign.
