Victoria "Vicki" Ferrera, 81, Victoria earned a B.A. in English from Newark State Teachers College in 1965 and embarked on a 30-year career with the Newark Board of Education teaching high school English. After retiring in 1995, she pursued many other interests, including reading, shopping, mastering her use of an iPad, and going places with her long-time partner, Philip Ganguzza. Most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her beloved grandchildren, Andrew and Amanda.
