Roll-Over Near the Wilton/Westport Border Shuts Down Rte. 33 till 4 p.m.
The accident is expected to be cleared by 4 p.m., according to the Wilton Police Department.
A motor vehicle accident on Rte. 33 in Westport, near the Wilton/Westport border, close to the intersection of Rte. 53/Chestnut Hill has the route shut down, according to Wilton Hamlet Hub.
The Wilton Bulletin has tweeted that the accident involved a roll-over of a car after an unspecified accident occurred with a truck. A Patch editor reported seeing EMS, fire trucks, and police cars dispatched towards the scene of the accident, which appears to have occurred around 2:30 p.m. today.
The Wilton Police Department (WPD) said that they believe the road to be re-opened by 4 p.m. the WPD said that they were assisting in detouring the road but did not have any more information to release at this time.
