4/6: Seven lockers were pried open and stolen from at men’s locker room; the specifics of the stolen items have not yet been estimated, police said. Police said they have a suspect and are investigating the incident.

4/9: A mid-30s Wilton resident reported to police that someone had filled out her tax return form. According to police, the resident had filed her taxes online but when she submitted them, she received a notice stating that her forms had already been filed.

4/3: A stray dog, possibly a Corgi, was spotted near West Meadow/East Meadow Road. Police said that the dog was not located after the area was searched.

DUI

4/7: Police said they observed a vehicle crossing over the center line in the area of Rte. 7 and Cannon Road at around 2 a.m. Upon subsequent pullover and inspection, police said they found the driver, identified as Colin Hamilton, 49, of Schofield Town Road, Stamford, to be “operating an unregistered vehicle without current insurance. He was also found to be intoxicated,” police reports read. Police charged the accused with failure to drive right, DUI, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance, according to reports. Police released the accused on a promise to appear in court, reports state.
