State Representatives To Host Community Forum, Address Construction Concerns In Wilton

WILTON, CT — State Reps. Lucy Dathan and Savet Constantine will host a community forum this month about ongoing construction on Route 106 in Wilton and New Canaan.
According to a news release provided by Connecticut House Democrats, the project has affected the daily life of residents in both communities through traffic, issues with deliveries, discolored water and more.
The meeting is aimed to help area residents affected by the work on New Canaan Road from Belden Hill Road in Wilton to Little Brook Road in New Canaan.

During the forum, residents will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from Aquarion Water Company, Eversource and Yankee Gas to hear an overview of the work, raise questions directly and get answers, according to the release.
The meeting will be held Oct. 8 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Room 12 of the Comstock Community Center, located at 180 School Road in Wilton.
