Two Arrested After Aggressive DCF Meeting In Wilton: Police

Police said the mother involved tried to enter the Department of Children and Families' worker's car and reach her child.

WILTON, CT — Two adults from Bethlehem were arrested after allegedly trying to remove their biological child from the car of a worker from the Department of Children and Families (DCF). Wilton police said the child's parents were arrested after a supervised visit with a DCF worker went south.

Police said they responded to Belden Hill Road and Wolfpit Road to a call that someone was trying to take the caller's child. Police then figured out that a supervised visit was cut short due to aggressive behavior from the parents.

The parents are also accused of following the DCF worker with their car, and ultimately cut in front of her to block her from leaving. The child's mother then tried to enter the worker's car to reach her child.
