WILTON, CT — Two men were arrested for possession of guns, drugs and fake identifications after they were stopped going 40 miles over the speed limit.

Police said they stopped a man's car after seeing it traveling 77 miles per hour on Danbury Road. They found out that seven passengers were sitting in the five-seat car, and smelled marijuana in the car.

When police searched the car, they found a handgun in the driver's side door, marijuana, Xanax pills, paraphernalia and several fake IDs.

The driver was charged with speeding, driving with an overcrowded motor vehicle, weapons in a vehicle, possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and forgery in the third degree. He was given a $5,000 bond.

He is due in court on Dec. 14.
