Where To See Santa In Wilton This Christmas Season

Here's where you can find in-person visits with Santa this holiday season.

WILTON, CT — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Wilton families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In and around Wilton, kids have several chances to touch base with Santa or one of his key elves in the run-up to Christmas:

At Danbury Fair Mall, Santa is located at Center Court through Dec. 27.

On Dec. 2, Santa will arrive via fire truck parade at the CityCenter Green at 1 Ives Street in Danbury for the Light The Lights Winter Festival 2023. The event is from 3 to 7 p.m.

The annual Wilton Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday Stroll will be on Friday Dec. 1, and Justin Baiad Photography has partnered with Buddy the Elf for digital photo packages. All proceeds for the photo session will benefit Trackside Teen Center. There's also a bonfire, marshmallows, and hot cocoa provided by the Wilton Kiwanis Club at Schenck’s Island. Festivities begin at the Gazebo at 5 p.m.

Revelers can meet Santa Claus at Stew Leonard's at either the Danbury or Norwalk location, throughout December.

Santa will be sitting for photos at Connecticut Post Mall in Milford, through Christmas Eve.

Santa will also be at Macy’s stores in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Orlando. In Connecticut, Macy's has locations in Stamford, Trumbull, Danbury, Milford, Manchester and Farmington.

JC Penney stores, including stores in Trumbull, Danbury, Waterbury, Manchester, Farmington and Waterford, are offering professional portraits with Santa through Dec. 18.

Santa arrived Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Locally, Cabela's has a store in East Hartford at 475 East Hartford Boulevard. Reservations are encouraged.
