The road assessment work is scheduled to take place in Wilton between Oct. 17-24.

WILTON, CT — The Town of Wilton Department of Public Works has hired a firm to scan the public roadway network in order to identify and assess the condition of each road and better prioritize repairs.
This work is scheduled to take place between Oct. 17-24, and crews will use a vehicle similar to the one pictured above.
This vehicle will use multiple scanners mounted to the roof. Data collected by these instruments will be for internal use only to identify roadway conditions/defects such as cracks, bumps or potholes, according to a news release from the Town of Wilton.
