This past April, Wiltonians enjoyed the uplifting sight of more than 13,000 cheerful daffodils blooming around town to welcome spring. And this coming Saturday, Nov. 2, they’re invited to join Wilton Garden Club in planting the final round of its daffodil beautification program known as the Golden Miles Initiative. The planting of 2,000 bulbs will take place this Saturday at Wilton Town Hall, 238 Danbury Road. Those interested in volunteering should meet at Town Hall at 9:30 a.m. and bring a shovel or trowel and garden gloves. Refreshments will be provided.

“This is the Garden Club’s last year of a five-year beautification program to plant 15,000 daffodils, and we’d really love to finish strong,” said Suzanne Knutson, chair of the Golden Miles Initiative. “We welcome the public to join us in enhancing the grounds of our town government and helping us celebrate our final round of spreading daffodil happiness throughout Wilton.”
