Wilton Gas Prices Stay Stable Going Into 2025
In Wilton, the best price for a gallon of regular fuel is $2.95.
WILTON, CT — Gasoline prices continue to hold steady across the Northeast as trading remains subdued in oil and gas markets, according to o analysts at AAA Northeast.
In Wilton, the best price for a gallon of regular fuel is $2.95 at the Shell at 210 Danbury Road. The update was posted Monday morning by shopping app GasBuddy.
Domestically, gasoline demand topped a robust 9 million barrels a day last week, according to the Energy Information Administration, which is in line with expectations for a busy holiday travel season. American gas production more than met that demand with output jumping to 9.97 million barrels a day.

Here in Connecticut, a gallon of self-service regular is averaging $3.02, down one cent from a week ago and down four cents from a month ago. The national average is also $3.02, down two cents from last week and down three cents from last month.
"Thinly traded oil and gas markets are a major reason pump prices aren’t moving much, even with strong demand through the holidays," said Lauren Fabrizi, spokesperson for AAA Northeast. "With gasoline demand expected to fall sharply after the holidays, pump prices are unlikely to break out of hibernation in the short term."

On Monday, Oklahoma and Mississippi have the lowest prices in the nation at $2.56 and $2.58, respectively. Hawaii and California hold the highest prices in the nation this week at $4.53 and $4.35, respectively. Connecticut holds the 16th place on the list of highest gas prices in the nation. Average gas prices may be obtained here online daily.
