Wilton Library And RVNAhealth Launch Monthly Memory Café Gathering

Wilton Library to host a monthly Memory Café for residents with memory challenges and their care partners, starting May 20.

WILTON, CT — Wilton Library, in collaboration with RVNAhealth, is launching a new community initiative aimed at supporting individuals living with memory challenges and their care partners. The Memory Café will begin on Tuesday, May 20, and continue monthly as a welcoming and informal social gathering.

Inspired by the original Alzheimer’s Café in Holland, the program provides a relaxed environment for participants to connect, share experiences, and enjoy uplifting activities such as music, storytelling, therapy pet visits, crafts, and refreshments. Each session will include a featured activity, beginning with a “getting-to-know-you” theme during the first meeting.

The Memory Café is designed to promote meaningful engagement and offer support from both Wilton Library staff and RVNAhealth dementia specialists. To participate, attendees must be accompanied by a care partner for the full duration of the one-hour session.
