Wilton Memorial Day Parade: Road Closures and Traffic Detours
The Town of Wilton will be closing roads and setting up temporary detours to accommodate its annual Memorial Day Parade.
WILTON, CT — The Town of Wilton will be closing roads and setting up temporary detours to accommodate its annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday at 10 a.m.
Beginning at 09:45 a.m, River Rd. and Old Ridgefield Rd. will be closed in the Town Center.
Additionally, Ridgefield Rd. (Route 33) will be closed from Drum Hill Road to its intersection with Danbury Road. (Route 7). Southbound traffic on Ridgefield Road will be detoured onto Drum Hill Road to Belden Hill Road to Wolfpit Road (Route 106) to Danbury Road. Danbury Road traffic attempting to access Ridgefield Road northbound will be able to access the northern section of Ridgefield Road either by detour of School Road to Middlebrook Farm Rd. to Ridgefield Road or Wolfpit Road to Belden Hill Road to Drum Hill Rd. to Ridgefield Road.

The road closures and detours will remain in effect until the parade conclusion, approximately 11:30 a.m. Officers and CERT will be on scene to direct traffic around the area.
