Wilton Memorial Day Parade Set For May 26; Here Are The Road Closures

Wilton's Memorial Day Parade steps off at 10 a.m. on May 26; road closures begin at 9:30 a.m. and are expected to last until 12:30 p.m.

WILTON, CT — The town of Wilton will hold its annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 26, 2025, honoring the service and sacrifice of U.S. military personnel who died in defense of the country.

The parade is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., with several road closures in effect starting at 9:30 a.m. Ridgefield Road will be closed between Danbury Road and Drum Hill Road, while Horseshoe Road will be closed from Wolfpit Road to the town center. In addition, Belden Hill Road between Drum Hill Road and Ridgefield Road will also be closed to traffic.

As the parade progresses, some roads will reopen to allow limited access. Once the tail of the procession passes Center Street, Horseshoe Road will reopen to traffic into the town center. Ridgefield Road will also reopen between Danbury Road and Center Street. However, Old Ridgefield Road, Hubbard Road, and Ridgefield Road between Center Street and Drum Hill Road will remain closed until the event concludes at Hillside Cemetery. All roads are expected to reopen by approximately 12:30 p.m.

In the event of inclement weather, officials will announce any cancellations by 7 a.m. on the day of the parade.
