Wilton Motorcyclist Killed In Head-On Collision: Police

WILTON, CT — A Wilton resident motorcycling southbound on Ethan Allen Highway/Route 7, just south of Simpaug Turnpike, was killed in a two-vehicle collision Thursday night.

Kyle Schlatter, 36, crossed over into the northbound lane of traffic and was struck by an oncoming vehicle driven by a 46-year-old Bridgeport man, shortly before 11 p.m., according to a statement from the Ridgefield Police Department.

Schlatter was pronounced dead at the scene.
