Wilton Officials Looking To Sell Ads At Stadium: Report

There would be restrictions on the types of ads able to be sold.

WILTON, CT — With a push from Selectman David Clune, the Board of Selectmen will be looking into selling ads at Veterans Memorial Stadium and Lilly Field this school year, reports the Wilton Bulletin. Funds may go to maintenance of the new turf field.

The ads include printed banners visible to the home and guest bleachers. Under Clune's pilot policy, there would be restrictions on the type of ads, including no political ads and ads that conform to requirements and restrictions for advertising in schools.

Clune estimated there would be between $40,000 and $60,000 from 20 companies participating.
