Wilton Police Probe Danbury Road Collision That Injured 18-Year-Old Pedestrian
An 18-year-old pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on Danbury Road in Wilton, police say.
WILTON, CT — An 18-year-old was taken to Norwalk Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Danbury Road Wednesday night, according to police.
The collision occurred around 9:12 p.m., when a 2013 Subaru Forester, registered in Connecticut, hit the pedestrian, who was in the roadway at the time. Emergency personnel responded, and the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The Darien accident reconstruction team was called in to assist with the ongoing investigation.
