Wilton Police Respond To Diner Disturbance And Traffic Stop Leading To Narcotics Charges

Wilton Police handled a diner disturbance and seized narcotics following a traffic stop during the past week.

WILTON, CT — Wilton Police reported two incidents between Nov. 12 and Nov. 15 involving a diner disturbance and a drug-related traffic stop.

Disturbance at Orem’s Diner

On Nov. 15, officers were called to Orem’s Diner after an Uber driver requested help with an unruly passenger. The driver told police he had picked up two passengers from a Wilton home and repeatedly asked them to fasten their seatbelts. When they refused, he pulled into the diner parking lot and asked them to exit. One passenger, identified as Anmol Virk, 42, reportedly shouted at the driver and grabbed his shirt before letting go as officers arrived.

Virk was charged with second-degree breach of peace and released on a promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Nov. 26.

On Nov. 12, officers stopped a vehicle on Danbury Road near Station Road for failure to maintain a proper lane. A state police K-9, named Wrangler, alerted to the presence of narcotics during a search, police said. Officers found approximately 5.4 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 0.24 grams of suspected heroin, and drug paraphernalia.

Todd Fraiser, 56, of Port Chester, NY, a passenger in the vehicle, was charged with two counts of third-offense possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Nov. 24.
