Wilton Police Say BB Gun Shown In Stands At High School Football Game
Wilton police say two juveniles were referred to Juvenile Court after an unloaded BB gun was displayed at a high school football game.

WILTON, CT — Wilton police say two juveniles were referred to Juvenile Court after officers were alerted to video footage showing a student pointing an unloaded BB gun at another student during a high school football game last week.
According to police, officers assigned to a security detail at the Nov. 14 Wilton High School varsity game were notified about the video, which had been recorded in the stands. By the time officers received the report, the juvenile seen holding the BB gun had already left the event, and police determined there was no ongoing threat to spectators or the school community.
Officers identified the juvenile in the video and recovered the BB gun, which police say was not loaded. An investigation later determined a second juvenile had supplied the BB gun. Both were referred to Juvenile Court for a delinquent act.
