Traffic Stop Leads to Charges for Driver With Multiple Suspensions: Wilton PD
Wilton officers charged a Norwalk man after a traffic stop revealed 12 license suspensions and prior incidents.
WILTON, CT — A Norwalk man is facing charges after a traffic stop in Wilton led officers to discover he had 12 license suspensions and a history of prior incidents in town, according to the Wilton Police Department.
The stop occurred around 10:55 p.m. on Aug. 1, when officers pulled over a 2009 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck on Danbury Road after the driver failed to signal a turn into an exit-only driveway. Police said the driver initially provided a false name and date of birth and was unable to present vehicle documentation or explain the truck's ownership or destination.
Officers later identified the man as Pedro Reynoso, 55, of Fort Point Street in Norwalk. Police said his driver’s license had 12 active suspensions, and he had prior encounters with Wilton officers.

Reynoso was taken to Wilton Police Headquarters and charged with driving a motor vehicle under suspension and interfering with an officer. He was released after posting a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Aug. 14.
