Wilton Releases August Update On 2025 Road Paving Progress And Upcoming Projects

Wilton updates residents on 2025 paving program, with completed, ongoing, and upcoming road work scheduled through August.

WILTON, CT — Wilton officials have released the latest update on the town’s 2025 road paving program, noting ongoing work, upcoming projects, and recently completed improvements.

According to the Department of Public Works, paving schedules are subject to change due to weather and coordination issues. Roads currently in progress include portions of Drum Hill Road, Grumman Avenue, Signal Hill Road, Comstock Lane, and Rivergate Drive.

Completed roads include Thayer Pond Road, Seeley Road, School Road, and Hunting Ridge Road, Middlebrook Farm Road and Middlebrook Lane.

Roads still to be scheduled this year include Blue Ridge Road, Rolling Ridge Road, Timber Top Trail and Cherry Lane,

The town’s two-week outlook calls for milling and paving on Drum Hill Road, from Ridgefield Road to Highview Drive, and Grumman Avenue, from Grumman Hill Road to the Norwalk line, starting on or about Aug. 18, weather permitting.

Wilton's Highway Department will continue to perform storm drainage improvements on Rivergate Drive, Signal Hill Road and Comstock Lane in preparation of milling and paving work.

Officials advise drivers to use caution on roads under construction, as some surfaces may have raised structures until paving is complete. The town will post schedule changes and updates on its website.
