Wilton Releases June Update on 2025 Road Paving Schedule and Upcoming Construction Work
Wilton announces June 2025 paving updates, including roadwork start dates, drainage work, and safety advisories.
WILTON, CT — The Town of Wilton has issued its latest update on the 2025 road paving schedule, listing completed, in-progress, and upcoming work across various roadways.
According to the Department of Public Works, residents should expect milling and paving to begin around June 26, weather permitting, on School Road (from the school bus parking lot to Middlebrook Farm Road), Hunting Ridge Lane, Middlebrook Farm Road, and Middlebrook Lane. Work will continue through July 3, and may resume after July 7 if needed.
In addition to paving operations, Wilton’s Highway Department is scheduled to perform storm drainage improvements on Grumman Avenue during the week of June 30.

The list of roads currently in progress includes School Road (partial), Hunting Ridge Road, Middlebrook Farm Road, Middlebrook Lane, Drum Hill Road (partial), Signal Hill Road and Comstock Lane. Roads already completed include Thayer Pond Road and Seeley Road.
Several roads have yet to be scheduled but are proposed for paving this year, including Grumman Avenue, Blue Ridge Road, Rolling Ridge Road, Timber Top Trail, Cherry Lane, and Rivergate Drive (partial).

The town advises that adjustments to driveway aprons within the public right-of-way will be completed with asphalt, and any Belgian block elements will not be reset. Sprinkler systems installed in the public right-of-way will not be repaired if damaged during the paving process.
Road surfaces currently under preparation may have raised structures; motorists are urged to proceed with caution. The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or other logistical issues.
