Wilton Reopens Scribner Hill Road After Flood Damage Repairs
Scribner Hill Road in Wilton has reopened after flood damage repairs, with new drainage, guardrails and safety upgrades.

WILTON, CT — Scribner Hill Road has reopened following months of reconstruction after severe damage from hillside runoff and the historic flood of Aug. 19, 2025.
Town officials said the heavily traveled road had deteriorated over time due to persistent drainage problems, which were worsened by last summer’s flooding.
Crews rebuilt the roadbed, stabilized the banks, improved drainage systems and installed new guardrails. Officials noted the work was completed within budget.
