Wilton Resident Appointed SCORE Fairfield County Co-Chair

TOM SHIMKO NAMED CO-CHAIR OF SCORE FAIRFIELD COUNTY CHAPTER, WILTON RESIDENT BRINGS WEALTH OF BUSINESS EXPERIENCE TO ROLE

SCORE Fairfield County is pleased to announce the appointment of Wilton resident Tom Shimko as Co-Chair of its chapter. A seasoned marketing and business strategist with over 20 years of leadership experience, Mr. Shimko brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs in the Fairfield County community. The Chapter is part of SCORE, the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors and a resource partner of the US Small Business Administration.

Since joining SCORE as a volunteer and mentor, Mr. Shimko has provided invaluable guidance to a diverse range of clients, including growth-focused entrepreneurs and AI start-ups. His ability to identify opportunities, create actionable strategies, and deliver measurable results has made him an integral part of SCORE’s mission to foster small business success.

In addition to his role at SCORE, Mr. Shimko leads Shimko1to1, a strategy consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations grow through improved customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value. He also serves as vice chairman of the Wilton Economic Development Commission, contributing to local economic growth and sustainability.

Mr. Shimko’s professional career includes founding and leading the global consulting division at Peppers & Rogers Group, and holding senior marketing roles at Pitney Bowes, GE Capital, AIG, and Prudential.
