Wilton Snow Forecast: Find Out How Much & When It May Fall
Connecticut is in the midst of a severe drought and Thursday's forecast in Wilton offers up some good news plus a possibility of snow.
WILTON, CT — This will be the fun kind of snow for Connecticut and those who have to travel on Thursday, and more importantly some much needed rain is on the way too. It appears most of the state could see its first snowflakes of the year sometime mid to late Thursday morning but no real accumulation is expected.
Once the snowflakes quickly turn to rain Thursday, we could see between a half inch to one inch of rain in Connecticut which is in the midst of a severe drought.
NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan said on his Facebook page Wednesday morning that we can “Expect a bit of snow and sleet tomorrow morning as the leading edge of this next storm moves in. There could be some minor accumulation in the hill towns but for most areas it's a few stray sleet pellets and snow flakes before a change to a cold rain.”
