Apartment, Retail Complex Proposed For Windsor Center: Report
A developer envisions 100 apartment units and first-floor retail at the intersection of Route 75 and 159, he told the Hartford Courant.

WINDSOR, CT — A developer has proposed replacing a strip mall in Windsor Center with 100 apartment units and first-floor retail, the Hartford Courant reported.
The property is located at the intersection of Route 75 and 159, and the apartments would be mostly one- and two-bedrooms meant to draw young singles, young couples, and empty-nesters, developer Greg Vaca told the Courant.
If the town approves the project, the Courant reported, Vaca hopes to begin construction this spring.

"What's the type of housing stock that Connecticut is missing? Apartments," Vaca told the Courant. "We demolished all the apartments — now we're building them back up."
