Plaza Building Gets Floral Facelift

Owners of Windsor's Plaza Building decided to give the historic building's empty store fronts an artistic makeover Thursday, as the work to revive the landmark continues.

Nisha Sachdev, daughter of Windsor veterinarian Mohan Sachdev, said she decided she was going to brighten up the storefront, as residents have only had the view building in disrepair for some time now.

The Sachdev family purchased the building, including its adjacent apartments and storefronts in 2011.

Nisha's brother, Neill Sachdev, told Patch in an interview in March 2013 that the building is tentatively scheduled to open by the end of 2013.

Included in the renovations the revival of the building's theater and the introduction of a restaurant, Neill Sachdev said.

The details of the restaurant have yet to be revealed.
