Drivers Warned Of I-91 Lane Closures At Dexter Coffin Bridge
Motorists traveling through East Windsor and Windsor Locks should plan for overnight delays due to bridge work on I-91 southbound.
EAST WINDSOR / WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Nighttime bridge joint repairs are scheduled on I-91 southbound on the Dexter D. Coffin Bridge, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
The work will take place on the Dexter D. Coffin Bridge between Exits 44 and 42 and is part of routine maintenance to keep the bridge in good repair. The project will be carried out by Hartford Bridge Maintenance.
Motorists should expect lane closures on I-91 southbound between Exits 44 and 42 during overnight hours. Work is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., with traffic control signage and lane patterns guiding drivers through the work zone.
