“I’m very pleased with it,” LeBorious said in a telephone interview Thursday. “We have an excellent slate of candidates across the board.”
Nelson, Michna, Raber and Tripp are incumbents on their respective boards.
Bowsza is currently serving a term as chairman of the Board of Finance that is scheduled to end in 2015. He said in a telephone interview Thursday that, if he is elected to the Board of Selectmen, he would step down from the finance board.
Bowsza said that it’s been a positive experience serving on the finance board and he hopes to make a positive contribution to the Board of Selectmen.
“I believe it’s important to try new people in new roles,” Bowsza said. “We’ll see if voters agree.”
Deputy First Selectman Alan Baker decided not to seek re-election, according to LeBorious.Get more local news delivered straight to your inbox. Sign up for free Patch newsletters and alerts.
