East Windsor Police Highlight Leadership Opportunity For Area Students
The weeklong program will give eligible teens hands-on leadership experience beginning in July 2026, police said.
EAST WINDSOR, CT — The East Windsor Police Department is encouraging local students to apply for the FBINAA Youth Leadership Program, a national program aimed at developing leadership skills among teens interested in public service.
The weeklong program is scheduled to begin July 9th, 2026. Applications are now available, and the deadline to apply is February 2nd, 2026. Officials said there are no exceptions to the deadline.
To be eligible, students must be between 14 and 16 years old when the program starts, be a rising sophomore or junior, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must also be physically able to participate in all program activities and have health insurance.

Police said the opportunity may be a good fit for cadets, explorers, students, and children of local athletes or community members who are interested in leadership and law enforcement-related experiences.
