Ramses the Dog Returned to Owner

Dog located at 11:30 a.m. Monday.

Ramses, the Pharaoh Hound that broke loose from Bradley International Airport on Saturday, has been returned to his owners.

Owner Rob Outlaw of Hartford said in a telephone interview that Ramses’ breeder caught the dog at around 11:30 a.m. Monday.

Outlaw thanked the numerous volunteers and the Windsor Locks animal control for their efforts.

“I can’t thank them enough,” he said. “All of my gratitude is to them for coming out. I’m so appreciative of everybody. They’ve been so kind.”

Ramses was being flown in to Outlaw when the dog broke free and ran out of the airport.

“It won’t happen again, I can guarantee that,” Outlaw said.
