2. State Representative Chris Davis (R-57th) recently announced his “adoption” of Scantic River State Park in East Windsor under the “Adopt a Park” program. 

3. Spirit All-Stars Phoenix, of East Windsor, recently participated in a National Cheerleader Competition and its Junior 1 Team took First Place National Championship and won a Large Bid (personal invitation) to compete at Disney World in Florida.

4. Alexander W. Thim, of the Broad Brook section of East Windsor, recently earned the highest advancement award the Boy Scouts of America offers to Scouts: the Eagle Scout Award.
