• Delaware Transit Coalition Raises Equity Concerns Over Proposed Closure of SEPTA Ticket Office in Wilmington • TV Delmarva Channel 33 (tvdelmarva.com) — State transit advocates are pushing back against a proposal to close the staffed SEPTA ticket office at Wilmington’s Amtrak station, arguing it’s a vital lifeline for seniors, disabled riders, and residents without smartphones or credit cards. They say the roughly $35,000 annual cost is minor compared with Delaware’s huge unpaid toll losses and warn the move could deepen inequities in how motorists and transit riders are treated.
   

• Capitol Police expands facility dog program statewide. (delawarepublic.org) — A specially trained facility dog named Vinn is already helping calm victims and witnesses at the New Castle County Courthouse in Wilmington, and now the Capitol Police plan to expand the program statewide. His handler says judges increasingly request Vinn because his presence makes it easier for nervous victims, especially children, to share testimony, and more dogs and handlers could soon join the effort.
