Economists say unit pricing is key to saving on groceries (delawareonline.com) — Shoppers around Wilmington are being urged to rely on unit pricing to stretch their grocery budgets as food costs keep rising. Using examples from local stores, a University of Delaware economist explains how comparing price per ounce or pound can reveal better deals than eye-catching sale tags. The piece also notes Delaware’s lack of unit-pricing rules compared with New Jersey’s stricter enforcement.
5. Maxwell Football Club names Delaware's Mini-Max winners (wdel.com) — A Wilmington Friends School football standout, Cooper Strauss, is among 46 Delaware high school players honored with the Maxwell Football Club’s Mini-Max Award for excellence on the field, in class, and in the community.
