Video Shows Brawl At Massive Florida Boat Party

LAKE GEORGE, FL — A man was seriously injured in a brawl that broke out Saturday at Mayhem at Lake George 2o22, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.

Video taken from a police helicopter shows several people throwing punches and wrestling around a DJ deck in the water while surrounding by a large crowd of people and boats.

"They're gonna need rescue. We've got one guy on the deck that looks like he's unconscious and bleeding heavily from the face," an officer can be heard saying on the video.

Later in the video, the man struggles to steady himself as law enforcement helps him onto their boat.

From the boat, the man was taken to land, then taken to an area hospital by helicopter. The man intends to press charges, which are pending, a Volusia County Sheriff's Office spokesperson confirmed to Patch.

During the event, Florida Fish & Wildlife officials and deputies from Volusia, Orange and Seminole counties gave out 38 boating citations and 108 warnings and arrested five people. The arrests included three boating under the influence charges and two disorderly conduct charges, according to authorities.
