Ryan Case and Rick Case Cares Members Volunteer with United Way Broward’s 10th Annual Operation Turkey Dinner

Ryan Case was joined by members of Rick Case Cares to volunteer with United Way Broward’s 10th Annual Operation Turkey Dinner, part of the non-profit’s MISSION UNITED initiative. In November, the team helped pack and distribute more than 800 meal kits for local veterans and their families. Each meal kit, designed to feed a family of four, was filled with traditional holiday essentials including instant stuffing, mashed potatoes, cornbread mix, marshmallows, canned vegetables, pie crust, pumpkin pie mix, cranberry sauce, evaporated milk, aluminum foil and a $25 Publix gift card to complete their holiday feast.

Rick Case Automotive Group is a proud supporter of United Way Broward, donating $100,000 to fund various programs including Operation Turkey Dinner, Rides by Rita, Backpack Broward and Read Across America. Launched earlier this year, Rides by Rita provides transportation for veterans to and from doctor appointments. Each summer, Backpack Broward provides children of veterans and active-duty military members with backpacks filled with essential school supplies ahead of the new school year. This March, Rita will celebrate Read Across America with United Way by reading to students at Sunland Park Academy School in Fort Lauderdale. All 500 students at the elementary school will take home a book.
