Suspect Named In Fatal Shooting At Bradenton Bar

Manatee County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man in connection with a early Monday morning shooting at a Bradenton bar.

BRADENTON, FL — The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating a suspect in a fatal Monday morning shooting. The agency has obtained an arrest warrant for Carlos Valdovinos-Aguirre, 25.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies were called out to El Paisano bar, 5803 15th St. E., around 2:34 p.m. Dec. 26. When they arrived, they found Jose Armando Alonzo-Lopez, 20, suffering from a gunshot wound. Alonzo-Lopez was taken to Blake Medical Center, but died during surgery, an email from the sheriff’s office said.

The suspect in the case fled the bar prior to the sheriff’s office arriving, the agency noted. An arrest warrant for Valdovinos-Aguirre was issued Monday evening.
