18th Avenue West Reopens To Traffic

BRADENTON, FL — Motorists eager to enjoy smooth sailing on Bradenton’s 18th Avenue West are in luck. The city announced Tuesday morning that work on a storm drainage pipe has been completed and the road between Village Green Parkway and 65th Street West is back open for use.

The stretch of road was closed earlier this month so workers could replace a drain pipe. The project was expected to take about a week, but heavy rain caused delays, the city explained in an email to media.
