2 Bradenton Residents Killed In Motorcycle Crash
Two Bradenton residents were killed in Saturday night motorcycle crash in Pinellas County.

BRADENTON, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a Saturday night motorcycle crash in Pinellas County that left two Bradenton residents dead and a Largo man injured.
According to the agency, Daniel Thomas McLaughlin, 66, of Largo was driving a Volkswagen Golf westbound from a stop sign on 114th Avenue North around 9:40 p.m. July 1. McLaughlin, a highway patrol report said, was crossing the northbound lanes of Seminole Boulevard as Jonathan Daniel Pierce, 40, of Bradenton was heading north on Seminole, nearing the 114th Avenue intersection.

Troopers say McLaughlin failed to yield for Pierce’s Honda motorcycle. The front of the Volkswagen hit the front of the motorcycle, the report said.
Pierce and his passenger, Ashley Lynn Andree, 24, of Bradenton, were both taken to Bayfront Health for treatment after the crash. Troopers say both Andree and Pierce later died from their injuries.

McLaughlin suffered minor injuries in the crash and was also taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Charges are pending the outcome of the patrol’s investigation. No further information is available at this time.
