1. Acting Transportation Director Don Ross, and Assistant Transportation Director Sheryl Riker, will present detailed safety information regarding the outcome of last month's bus accident dring tonight's school board meeting. The meeting begins at 5:45 p.m. at the building.

2. Sharon Kramer from the Manatee County Substance Abuse Coalition will offer Manatee County Commissioners information on the substance abuse problem in Manatee County and will offer some ideas for solutions during the county commissioner's worksession at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the , 1112 Manatee Avenue West in the Manatee conferece room on the 4th Floor.

3. The Gulfcoast Sandpiper Chorus, Barbershop Quartets of Manatee County is offering their annual "Singing Valentines." You can give a never-to-be forgotten Valentine, with a song, a card, and a box of chocolate for only $40. Call  941-778-4590. The Gulfcoast Sandpiper Chorus is a local chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, a non-profit organization, that serves the community by performing at civic events, hospitals, and nursing homes in and around Manatee County.

4. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and Dunkin Donuts is offering heart-shaped donuts. With the return of the Cupid’s Choice Donut and the new Chocolate Heart Donut, it’s a delicious way to surprise your special someone. The Cupid’s Choice Donut is a heart-shaped donut filled with Bavarian Kreme, topped with strawberry icing and a festive mix of pink, white and red heart-shaped sprinkles.  The new Chocolate Heart Donut is a chocolate frosted heart-shaped donut with vanilla buttercreme filling, topped with chocolate chips.
